Start and End Time Explained

Welcome Screens can use scheduled activation periods to automatically control when personalized guest messages appear on TVs.

This allows hospitality staff to prepare Welcome Screens in advance without needing to manually activate or remove them later.

Start Date and Time #

Start Date / Time #

Determines when the Welcome Screen becomes active on the player.

Before the configured start time:

  • The normal slideshow continues playing
  • The Welcome Screen remains inactive

End Date and Time #

End Date / Time #

Determines when the Welcome Screen automatically expires.

After the expiration time:

  • The Welcome Screen stops displaying
  • The player resumes normal slideshow playback
  • No manual reset is normally required
