The amount of slideshows that can be created is linked to the amount of assigned WelcomeTV Players on your account.
This system helps keep account structures organized and prevents excessive creation of unused playlists.
How the Slideshow Limit Works #
The maximum amount of slideshows is based on the number of assigned players.
Examples:
- 3 players = maximum 3 slideshows
- 10 players = maximum 10 slideshows
Each account can therefore create enough slideshows to support different TV groups or property areas without creating unnecessary complexity.
Why This System Exists #
Limiting slideshow count helps maintain:
- Cleaner account organization
- Simpler player management
- Easier content maintenance
- More predictable deployment structures
In practice, most hospitality properties rarely need more slideshows than active TV groups or locations.
Typical Slideshow Usage #
Common slideshow examples include:
- Guest room TVs
- Reception displays
- Restaurant screens
- Spa TVs
- Lobby signage
Multiple players can also share the same slideshow if identical content is needed across several TVs.
You do not need one slideshow per TV.
In many cases, multiple rooms or screens can simply use the same playlist.
When the Limit Is Reached #
If the slideshow limit is reached:
- You may need to delete unused slideshows
- Or assign additional players to expand the limit
The dashboard may display warnings when no additional slideshows can be created.
