Slideshows allow you to organize multiple slides into a playable TV playlist.
Once created, a slideshow can be assigned to one or more WelcomeTV Players and displayed automatically on connected TVs.
Creating a New Slideshow #
- Open the Slideshows section
- Click Add Slideshow
- Enter a slideshow title
- Configure canvas dimensions if needed
- Save the slideshow
After saving, the slideshow becomes available for further configuration and player assignment.
What You Can Do After Creating a Slideshow #
Add Slides #
Select and organize slides that should appear inside the slideshow.
Configure Durations #
Set how long each slide remains visible during playback.
Enable Background Music #
Add optional background music for lobby, restaurant or promotional displays.
Preview Playback #
Test the slideshow before publishing it to live TVs.
Assign to Players #
Choose which WelcomeTV Players should display the slideshow.
Canvas Dimensions #
Most standard TVs use:
- 1920 × 1080
- 16:9 landscape
Portrait signage displays may use different dimensions depending on the installation.
Use clear slideshow names such as “Reception TV”, “Restaurant Menu” or “Villa Rooms”.
Future-you will appreciate not having to decode mysterious names like “Final_Final_REAL_v2”.
