Why Slide Order Matters #
The structure of a slideshow affects how guests experience the content.
A well-balanced slideshow generally feels:
- More professional
- Easier to follow
- Less repetitive
- More visually engaging
Good to know:
Guests rarely watch an entire slideshow from beginning to end.
Most people glance at the TV briefly, so the sequence should remain understandable at almost any point in the loop.

Recommended Slideshow Structure #
- Place welcome or informational content near the beginning
- Alternate promotional slides with calmer informational content
- Avoid showing similar promotions back-to-back
- Keep the overall playback visually balanced
Mixing content types generally creates a smoother viewing experience.
Things to Avoid #
- Repeating the same promotion multiple times in a row
- Long blocks of text-heavy slides
- Extremely chaotic playback sequences
- Rapid transitions between unrelated content styles
Overly repetitive or chaotic slideshows may reduce engagement and make content easier for guests to ignore.
