Welcome Screens can be cleared or reset directly from the Players page once they are no longer needed.
Clearing a Welcome Screen removes the temporary personalized content and returns the player to normal slideshow playback.
What Happens After Clearing? #
After clearing a Welcome Screen:
- The player returns to the standard slideshow
- Personalized guest messages are removed
- Normal content playback resumes automatically
No additional manual playback configuration is usually required.
Common Reasons to Clear a Welcome Screen #
Guest Checkout #
Remove personalized greetings after the guest leaves the property.
Event Completion #
Remove temporary event or conference messaging.
VIP Departure #
Clear premium arrival messaging after the stay ends.
Configuration Changes #
Replace old personalized content with updated messaging.
How to Clear a Welcome Screen #
- Open the Players page
- Select the player
- Open the Welcome Screen settings
- Use the clear or reset option
- Save the changes
The player will automatically synchronize the updated configuration once online.
Automatic Playback Recovery #
Once cleared:
- The Welcome Screen no longer appears
- The player resumes standard slideshow playback
- Cached normal content continues functioning normally
This process is automatic and designed for minimal operational effort.
Clearing old Welcome Screens is important.
